FAQs: Do I have to change the time zone in the Add to Calendar feature?

A. As this year’s conference is in Dallas, which is in the Central time zone, we’ve set the “Add to my calendar” function to add the session to your Outlook calendar in Central time – regardless of your time zone.

If you decide to change your laptop or PDA to the Central time zone once you’re on-property, this will work out fine.  If you intend to leave your equipment on your “home” time zone, then changing to the appropriate “home” start time is correct.

Go to the “Plan Your Week” function now to add sessions to your calendar.

  1. I do not travel very often and have a question for the road warriors out there. What is the best method for managing your calendar when moving between time zones.
